Cleveland Browns News: Myles Garrett trolls Kevin Durant
By Randy Gurzi
The Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the news you need to know, like Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett going at Kevin Durant of the Warriors
Myles Garrett is embracing his role as a member of the Cleveland Browns — and the Cleveland sports scene in general. Not only is he doing his part to help improve the Browns image, but he’s tossed out the pitch at a Cleveland Indians game and also has poked at the Cleveland Cavaliers biggest rival in recent seasons.
The Golden State Warriors may have bested the Cavs, but that didn’t stop Garrett from calling out one of their star players. He said that not only did forward Kevin Durant ride coattails to get his ring, but hat he “broke the league.”
And let’s be honest, Garrett was right. Durant didn’t take a team to the finals and win a title for his city like LeBron James, he joined a team that was already full of champions. Maybe not everyone liked what Garrett had to say, but the man speaks the truth.
That story and more take center stage in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.
Cleveland Browns News
Browns’ Myles Garrett critical of Kevin Durant joining Warriors – Pat McManamon, ESPN
"Garrett said that Durant “took the easy way out” by joining a Warriors team that had gone 73-9 the previous season. LeBron James’ joining the Miami Heat with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh was different because their success was not guaranteed and the Heat “had to jell,” Garrett said."
Maybe he sugar-coated the Miami thing for LeBron, but hey he supported Cleveland so we can gloss over that one.

"A worst-case scenario for Ward is difficult to pinpoint. Following the disaster the was the Justin Gilbert selection, a similar case would indeed be the worst possible outcome. Having said that, a more reasonable worst-case outcome for Ward, shy of injury, would be to find struggles against the league’s top talents and lose his starting position, thus having a much smaller contribution off the bench."
Browns fans need to be optimistic, and should be. This has been a great offseason, but this piece on Spin Zone looks at both ends of the spectrum in regards to how the rookies could perform.
"Ken Zampese can hardly believe his good fortune. In his first season as Browns’ QB coach, he gets to a tutor a young Pro Bowl quarterback with a winning record who took his team to the playoffs last season in Tyrod Taylor."

Taylor seems to be getting short changed as so many are excited about the future with Baker Mayfield. That’s understandable, but Tyord Taylor is legit and may very well make Browns fans wonder what the best move in the future is.
