Cleveland Browns News: Corey Coleman has to ‘keep working’
By Dan Justik
The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news that you need to know, including Corey Coleman needing a breakout season in 2018.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Corey Coleman was the first draft selection in the Sashi Brown era. Much like Brown, Coleman has not found much success with the Browns.
Coleman has only played 19 games in the first two seasons of his career, as he has missed time in both seasons with broken hands. He has caught 56 passes for 718 yards and five touchdowns in his two-year career. There have also been off-field concerns with Coleman, as he was a part of a police investigation while in Cleveland.

Trade rumors swirled around Coleman this off-season after John Dorsey took over as general manager. Although Coleman remains on the roster, his spot heading into the season is a big question mark.
Even after the trade rumors, there has been more noise surrounding the wide receiver. Reports came out saying that Browns coaches were questioning Coleman’s work ethic and football intelligence.
But during the team’s summer sessions, Coleman’s focus has been opening the eyes of some of the Browns coaches.
That story and more can be found in today’s edition of Daily Dawg Tags.
