Cleveland Browns: When is the 2018 training camp?

The Cleveland Browns are getting ready for their 2018 training camp and some of the practices are open to the public. But when does camp start?

The 2018 NFL Season can’t get here quick enough, but at least we’re almost to the start of training camp. With July here that means we are finally int he month where teams report, but the question we want to know is when do the Cleveland Browns kick off their 2018 training camp?

According to their official website, that would be near the end of the month. Cleveland’s first practice is on Thursday, July 26 at 2:35 p.m. Their final comes on Wednesday, Aug. 15 with the same start time — although the website lists Aug. 18 as the final date.

Many of the practices are open to the public, but tickets are needed to attend. These can be found on the same website with the full schedule.

The first preseason game will take place on the road against the New York Giants on Thursday Aug. 9. They will have their first home game the following week on Friday Aug. 17 against the Buffalo Bills.

Cleveland is on a mission this season after going 1-31 the past two years. New general manager John Dorsey made several moves with some of the biggest being the addition of quarterback Tyrod Taylor and Jarvis Landry. That’s without even mentioning the rookies he brought in.

No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield should be the starter of the future and there’s also cornerback Denzel Ward, running back Nick Chubb and offensive lineman Austin Corbett.

Training camp will be the first chance for fans to get an up close look at these new faces as well as all the returning stars.
