10. Week 12 @ Cincinnati Bengals

There isn’t much to say about this one that hasn’t already been said. The only real difference is that this game is earlier in the year, the Bengals are at home, and the Browns could very well be coming off a loss in the week before.

In divisional games, home-field advantage just matters more. Not only that, but the Bengals are known for being more “vicious” at home, as their…rowdy fans take over the city on Sundays.

Maybe not every call will go the Browns’ way, and the Bengals get the benefit of the doubt. This one is likely a much closer game with the Bengals at home, and could go either way as the NFL enters its home stretch.

9. Week 5 @ Oakland Raiders

Before the book comes out (again) on Jon Gruden and the Raiders, Oakland could have an early run of dominance. Even with a likely predictable gameplan, quarterback Derek Carr is a stud, and the Raiders have some intriguing pieces on the defensive side.

Wide receiver Amari Cooper is primed and ready for a comeback season for the ages, not to mention Carr’s other offensive weapons. Karl Joseph and Obi Melifonwu could be the most electrifying safety duo in the league.

The Raiders had a down season in 2017 and followed it up with (maybe) the biggest head coaching hire in a decade. Not to mention, the Browns will be traveling out to the Black Hole for this game, without a doubt, one of the hardest places in the NFL to play. This one might be tough, but the Browns could pull it off on a good day.
