Pass Catchers Not Named Landry

Now we get to Josh Gordon. When Josh is healthy, we all know the type of stats he can put up. Now, he has just taken a leave from camp to better himself mentally, but that doesn’t concern me moving forward. Teammates, coaches and front office staff have noted how hard he has worked and how much he has improved, so I see him being back for when it matters.

That being said, he hasn’t played a full season since 2012, so it will be interesting to see how he holds up for a long grueling season. Again, his targets may go down, but with a better quarterback and running game and defenses not being able to double him every play, I see him putting up good fantasy numbers similar to Landry. I would take Gordon as a strong number two receiver.

Another pass catcher to keep an eye on is tight end David Njoku. Njoku’s size should get him targets in the red zone to pick up those ever important six fantasy points. With the tight end talent in the NFL, I don’t expect Njoku to be taken in a lot of drafts, but in bigger leagues with 12, 14 or even 20 teams, he is someone to keep an eye on even as a waiver wire guy to fill in for an injured tight end or one on a bye.
