With all the news going on about training camp for the Cleveland Browns, you may have missed that one of their players is dealing with some misfortune. Tight end David Njoku has been dealing with a small case of the drops and that’s starting to make some headlines.
Njoku had a great season as s first-round pick in 2017 and this isn’t anything to worry about too much at this point. There’s plenty of time to work out the kinks and he surely will do just that.

NFL Training Camp Notes: A Case of the Drops for David Njoku? — Brad Gagnon, Bleacher Report
"On Wednesday, however, Petrak reported Njoku has “dropped too many passes,” and his teammates appear to be taking notice. According to Petrak, Browns linebacker Christian Kirksey “took a friendly jab” at Njoku by notifying him that “the JUGS machine is inside.”"
Njoku has spoken on the issue and knows he has to work through it. It’s still early so it isn’t anything to worry about and the sky is the limit for this talented young man.
"Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson is working to overcome an “extremely difficult” period in his life following the deaths of his mother, Betty Lee, and brother, John Jackson Jr., over the past two weeks."
Our thoughts and condolences go out to Hue Jackson at this point in his life. It’s never an easy time to have a personal loss, but surely the excessive cameras around him for ‘Hard Knocks’ likely makes it more difficult.
