The Cleveland Browns made an aggressive move this off-season when they traded for wide receiver Jarvis Landry – then signing him to a five-year, $75.5 million extension.
Landry is a well-respected player across the league, and is also one of the best wide receivers in the league.

Adding him to the Browns offense, paired with Josh Gordon, will help create a dynamic 1-2 combo that may be hard for defenses to contain.
But in the first episode of HBO’s Hard Knocks on Tuesday night, Landry went on a fiery tirade in the Browns’ wide receiver room following what seemed to be a poor practice for the entire Browns roster. It may have been how the show was edited, but the practice seemed very sloppy and the players were not showing much intensity.
In today’s featured article, Landry’s passionate speech could be a sign of the beginning of a culture change in the Browns organization and the speech being exactly what the team needed.

"It was a single shot from the camera in the corner of the room and (warning) the scene had a lot of swearing. But it showed a new player trying to be a leader on a team that went 1-31 the past couple years and needs dramatic steps to turn things around."
Despite this not being a speech in front of the whole team, it would not be a surprise if this is how Landry has operated in the Browns’ locker room. The way that Landry carries himself and how the team rallies around him gives hope for a Browns resurgence.
