Since he was drafted with the first overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, there has been a lot of good things about what Baker Mayfield has done with the Cleveland Browns.
He has shown his elite arm talent during camp, which is what made him John Dorsey’s guy during the draft process. But he has also been credited with having an amazing work ethic and has picked up on everything that he has been told to do.

Mayfield made his NFL debut against the New York Giants on Thursday, and once again was very impressive. Granted, it was only the first preseason game and he is playing against a defense that is not game-planning for the Browns’ offense.
But Mayfield did a lot of things that should excite the Browns organization and the fan base. He showed why the Browns believed in his arm talent so much.
In today’s featured article, one NFL analyst believes that Mayfield’s debut should give the Browns hope for long-term stability at the quarterback position.

"But despite those qualifiers, Mayfield did indeed produce a debut that should leave the Browns brimming with confidence about the long-term health of their quarterback position."
It is an incredibly small sample size to make such a big claim, but Mayfield showed the same attributes that made many believe he was worth the first overall pick. But for the first time in a long time, there seems to be stability at the quarterback position.
Dez Bryant says he’s coming to visit Browns
During the Browns’ first preseason game, free agent wide receiver Dez Bryant tweeted that he would be visiting the Browns for a workout. But Randy Gurzi cautions Browns fans, saying this is only a “visit,” and it does not guarantee the Browns will sign Bryant.
"Browns GM John Dorsey and Hue Jackson believe that Antonio Callaway didn’t smoke marijuana last weekend, but spoke with the rookie receiver on Tuesday night and warned him in no uncertain terms ”that these types of things can’t be tolerated.”"
It appears that Antonio Callaway’s recent incident will not hurt his status with the Browns, but still may receive discipline from the league. But it seems that Callaway will be given some chances with the Browns organization, similar to Josh Gordon.
