Training Camp MVP

Finally, we come to our biggest award of the night. Our Best Picture, our Song of the Year, our Best Musical. The Browns Training Camp MVP Award. This prize is given out only to the best of the best each year and is meant to exemplify what every single Cleveland Brown in training camp can, and should, aspire to. Let’s meet this year’s nominees.

First, quarterback Tyrod Taylor. Taylor saw a great performance in week one of the preseason, capping a 5-5 drive with 99 yards and a touchdown against the New York Giants. Additionally, he has held down the starting quarterback job all throughout camp and looks to carry into the regular season. Next, wide receiver Jarvis Landry. Landry hauled in big catch after big catch during training camp and had a few very nice grabs during his preseason performance.

Finally, defensive end Myles Garrett. Garrett saw action on nearly every day of training camp, constantly made his presence felt, and made sure of his spot as the alpha dog among the Browns.

This year’s Browns Training Camp MVP Award goes to…wide receiver, Jarvis Landry. Quite simply, Landry is the biggest playmaker, motivator, and all-around positive force that the Browns have had in quite a while. His production from the slot receiver position is unmatched, he seems to always have a plan to get to the football, and his work ethic is second to none.

There isn’t much about Landry that hasn’t already been said, so it may be best to leave his performance in the regular season, and beyond, to do the talking. Congratulations, Mr. Landry. You deserve this one.
