The Cleveland Browns looked great in certain areas in their 2018 preseason debut, but there’s a long way to go. Here are three things to watch in Preseason Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills.

Preseason Week 2 is just around the corner as the Cleveland Browns are set to play their first home game this Friday against the Buffalo Bills. Last week, Cleveland was featured on NFL Network as they visited the New York Giants and they left us ready for more action.

There was plenty to like about that game as the Browns came out looking like a completely different team than the one that managed zero wins a season ago.

Their biggest improvement was easily under center as both Tyrod Taylor and Baker Mayfield proved to be capable leaders. Taylor was a perfect 5-for-5 passing and capped his night off with a touchdown pass to David Njoku. Mayfield followed his performance by throwing another touchdown to Njoku and one to rookie receiver Antonio Callaway.

On defense, new linebacker Mychal Kendricks recorded a sack and rookie corner Denzel Ward showed off his physical abilities with a monstrousness hit.

Not all was great though, which is the norm for the preseason. Here we will look at the three biggest keys to their next game which will also be featured on NFL Network. This can be areas they either need to show improvement or prove success can be sustained.
