Mychal Kendricks’ NFL career could be over – Mike Florio, Pro Football Talk
"On one hand, it’s admirable that Browns linebacker Mychal Kendricks fully admitted to engaging in insider trading. On the other hand, he may have had no choice but to accept guilt in lieu of retaining a hired gun to fire shotgun blasts at the clay pigeon of reasonable doubt."
The Browns made a smart decision to release Kendricks and move on from the situation. Some may argue that the Browns have held on to players with off-field problems before, but federal felony charges are not the kind of criminal charges you want hanging over your team for a season.
