Players on the waiver wire the Cleveland Browns should consider adding

Linebacker Kevin Minter
The Browns are going to need to add some depth at the inside linebacker position, and a young veteran like Kevin Minter could get a look from the Browns.
Minter has experience as a starter, starting in 44 games in his career. Last year, Minter played in nine games for the Bengals, making 32 total tackles. His best years came with the Arizona Cardinals in 2015-2016, starting in every game those two seasons. He made 175 total tackles, one forced fumble, and six passes defended.
Following the release of Mychal Kendricks, the Browns were forced to change their plans at the linebacker position. The Browns are going to need to find another solid inside linebacker with Genard Avery and James Burgess playing on the outside.
Minter fits the mold perfectly, as he has plenty of experience in the NFL, and is still only 27-years-old.
Minter dealt with a bunch of injuries in 2017, which definitely limited him when he was healthy. Entering this season, he will certainly have a chip on his shoulder and show the talent that he had with the Cardinals.
For the Browns, picking up a player that has shown what he can do in the NFL would be a good gamble. And at 27-years-old, there still may be some upside they can get out of Minter.
