Cleveland Browns: How many wins will they have?
Week 14: Carolina
I mentioned earlier that there is that one game every year that teams seem to win that they’re expected to lose. I see this one as being that game for the Browns. The Panthers will head north to Cleveland and the Browns will give another inspired effort to defeat the Panthers. This is where things get interesting.
Week 15: @ Denver
With a record of 6-7, it will be interesting to see if the Browns are still in the hunt for a wild-card spot. If they’re not, this could be the logical place to slide Baker Mayfield in as the starting quarterback and see what you have for the last three games.
Either way, Denver is a house of horrors for the Browns. I don’t necessarily think the Broncos are going to be good this year, but their defense should be stout. No matter who’s under center, let’s give this one to the Broncos.
Week 16: Cincinnati
The Browns close out their home schedule with a win against the Bengals, exacting some revenge on a team that has quite frankly taken it to them a bit over the past few years.
Week 17: @ Baltimore
At 7-8, this should definitely be the Baker Mayfield show. Potentially this could be a game we see Mayfield competing on one side and Lamar Jackson competing on the other.
The Browns have typically played competitively at Baltimore. This one could be a very entertaining finale. I’m going to go with my heart on this one and say that a .500 record means more to the Browns than whatever the Ravens have to play for and the Browns win!
Final record: 8-8 (4-2 in the division).
