Game: Cleveland Browns at New Orleans Saints

Summary: A frustrating game offensively led to a tie as the Browns and Steelers both scored 21 this past Sunday. Now they head south to play the 0-1 New Orleans Saints. This game will be in a dome, which is nice considering how bad the weather was in Week 1. It’s also bad because New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees has a tendency to carve people up in a dome — and he’s also likely going to be in a bad mood after his team was upset 48-40 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1.

Also a little miffed will be the defense of the Saints. They gave up 417 yards to Ryan Fitzpatrick who is filling in for a suspended James Winston. Fitzpatrick, I believe, is also the only backup quarterback in the NFL who has not played for the Browns at some point — I will admit that hasn’t been fact-checked. This secondary isn’t great, but they were better than they showed against Tampa and will likely give their best effort on Sunday against the Browns.

As for the Browns, their defense gave up a lot of yards to Pittsburgh but created a ton of turnovers. Don’t expect six turnovers in this one, but they still will play their rear ends off. Unfortunately, the Cleveland offense has too much to work on and won’t be able to keep pace with the high-flying Saints. New Orleans takes this one, but the Browns will make plays to show people their competitive fire.

Final Score: New Orleans 34, Cleveland 20
