Following a heartbreaking loss at the hands of the New Orleans Saints, the Cleveland Browns will head back to the Dawg Pound for Thursday Night Football.  The Browns will have a date with the 1-1 New York Jets on a national stage. These are our bold predictions for week three.

In their first night game since the 2017 preseason against the New York Giants, the Cleveland Browns will be on the national stage. You may remember the last Cleveland Browns regular season primetime game. It ended in a heartbreaking blocked field goal by Travis Coons, which led to a touchdown on the same play by the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns and their seemingly-constant kicking woes will look to keep history from repeating itself and grab their first win in 634 days.

Enter: The New York Jets, led by rookie quarterback Sam Darnold, are coming off a loss to the Miami Dolphins. All rookie signal-callers are bound to have ups and downs, and the Browns will look to keep Darnold on the downward spiral he began last week. The Browns are at home, under the lights, and have battled to the bitter end in two close games. If there was ever a time to be optimistic about a team as consistently hapless as the Cleveland Browns, it would be now.

Thus, here we are, yet again, with some bold predictions. The Browns have a great chance at this one, and bringing it home would mean, in addition to Bud Light for everyone, a breaking of a two-season curse at last. These are our predictions for Thursday Night Football.
