The Cleveland Browns defeated the Baltimore Ravens in overtime. Here we look at the players who stood out, both good and bad, for the Browns as they moved to 2-2-1 on the season.

The Cleveland Browns moved to 2-2-1 on the season as they finally won an overtime game — in their third try of the season. They were the underdogs but spent most of the game in control.

They did surrender a late field goal to the Baltimore Ravens that led to the extra period, but the Browns kept fighting back. They had a kick at the end of regulation for the win, but it sailed wide.

In overtime, they took nearly the entire 10 minutes as they knocked a knuckleball kick in from 37-yards with just two seconds remaining.

There were several players who stood out in the win, and those who made it tougher to pull off the upset than it should have been. We highlight those players in our Week 5 edition of the studs and duds. Although this week, we have a couple honorable mentions to start things off.

Honorable mentions:

Stud: Rashard Higgins.

After an early miscommunication with Mayfield, Higgins started to make a connection with the quarterback. He ended the day with 66 yards off three receptions — and a touchdown. He left with a knee injury, which the Browns hope isn’t serious because he’s playing lights out.

Dud: Jarvis Landry

He had five receptions for 69 yards but made a bad decision at the end of the game when he fought for extra yards instead of going out of bounds. That cost them a ton of time and they had to spike the ball — meaning they lost a down. That led to their final kick of regulation being from 55-yards out. Had he stayed in bounds, it could have been a more manageable kick.
