Game: Cleveland Browns (2-3-1) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-3)

Summary: The way fans are feeling about the Cleveland Browns may be diminished some after a rough outing in Week 6. They were beaten pretty badly by the Chargers, with injuries at wideout playing a huge part in that defeat.

They’re still thin at the spot and could be leaning heavily on newly signed Brashad Perriman — the former Baltimore Ravens first-round pick who didn’t live up to expectations there.

Injuries to Rashard Higgins and Rod Streater have caused their depth to be tested and they failed in Week 6. The good news for this group in Week 7, however, is that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have struggled mightily on the defensive side of the ball. They’ve surrendered at least 30 points in all but one game and have twice given up 40. That means there will be plays for the offense to make.

As for the Browns defense, they’ll have their hands full with this receiving corps. Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, and Adam Humphries will pose serious problems for the Cleveland corners. The good news is, Jameis Winston loves to throw to the wrong team. He also likes to eat his own fingers. And his team is 1-6 since he ate said fingers.

Look for the Browns defense to bend, but not break as they stop a couple scoring drives with interceptions. The offense will be better and maybe Nick Chubb finally gets those darn carries the head coach so desperately hopes he can get.

Final score: Cleveland 30, Tampa Bay 27
