Dante Fowler, DE, Jacksonville Jaguars

No spot on the Browns roster needs more help than the defensive line. This isn’t a knock on their talent, because they have plenty. Instead, it’s a knock on their depth. Currently, the starters are being forced to play far too many snaps. So far it hasn’t been detrimental, but it could be if this keeps up.

Adding another edge rusher could be a huge benefit as it would allow stars like Myles Garrett and Emmanuel Ogbah to remain fresh late in the games. One player who could help is Dante Fowler, Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Folwer has fallen out of favor with the Jags, but he’s proven to be a viable edge rusher in their rotation. In 2017, he had eight sacks despite not starting a single game. He has two more this season, while still not starting for the Jags. He could be a huge rotational piece for the Browns if they could swing a trade for the former first-round selection.

Janoris Jenkins, CB, New York Giants

We already touched on the injuries to the defensive backfield and that again has us looking at a player to help. This time, it’s Janoris Jenkins of the New York Giants. A much more polished player than the aforementioned Conley, Jenkins could be on the way out as the Giants are trading just about everybody.

Next. Shepard is the most intriguing WR option. dark

Jenkins is about to turn 30 and is about halfway through his five-year $62.5 million deal, so the Browns would need to do plenty of homework before pulling the trigger on a trade here.
