Game: Cleveland Browns (2-4-1) at Pittsburgh Steelers (3-2-1)

Summary: It’s a curious time in the season for the Cleveland Browns. After the team received a jolt of energy when first overall pick, Baker Mayfield took over the reins of the offense, they’ve looked like a team with a rookie quarterback.

Last week, the Browns quickly, and somewhat surprisingly, traded running back Carlos Hyde to Jacksonville 48 hours before their game against Tampa Bay.

This week has brought new rumors that Head Coach Hue Jackson’s job might be in jeopardy.

The Browns are 2-4-1, but they “seem” better than that. I think the phrase “you are what your record says you jumped the shark a long time ago” but that’s what the Browns are looking at. They’re back to being the little brother of the division.

Will the real Cleveland Browns please stand up? Will this be the week?

Their opponent the Pittsburgh Steelers are doing what they do. What winning franchises do (yes, I just threw up in my mouth). They are circling the wagons and oh, by the way, remembering they have Antonio Brown.

This is not good news for the Browns. Especially since the game will be played in the Steel City.

Still, I expect a close game. Despite Hue Jackson’s vain, and in my opinion somewhat empty, threats of being more involved with the offense, the Browns should be able to move the ball against the Steelers. In the end, I think the injuries on defense, particularly in the secondary, catch up to the Browns.

Final Score: Pittsburgh 27 , Cleveland 17
