With the 2018 trade deadline just days away, there are some under the radar players that could be trade targets for the Cleveland Browns.

When the Cleveland Browns play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, the result of the game will help determine the direction the organization takes in the next few weeks.

A loss to the Steelers could be the final nail in the coffin for head coach Hue Jackson, and the Browns could begin their search for a new head coach.

The Browns started the season 2-2-1, and showed the potential to be a threat in the AFC North this season. In the past two games, the Browns have been out-coached and did not play well (until a late comeback against Tampa Bay), leading to two straight losses.

One more loss, especially to the Steelers, could be the final straw for Jimmy Haslam. If Jackson wants to keep his job, he better lead the Browns to a win on Sunday.

The result of Sunday’s game could also determine how the Browns approach the trade deadline on October 30th.

The Browns are not in a position to acquire older, expensive veterans to try and win now. But a win on Sunday could push the Browns into targeting some veterans to help in the next year or two.

A loss on Sunday could make general manager John Dorsey deal some of his veterans to teams in contention and acquire some more draft assets.

The players that the Browns should be targeting are younger players that would help build depth throughout the roster, despite fans wanting them to make a big, headline grabbing move. Here’s a look at some under the radar targets for the Browns.
