The Cleveland Browns have yet to rebound from the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. But the Dawg Pound Daily Pick ‘em league rebounded nicely.

The Cleveland Browns made a lot of changes due to incompetence this week. Gone are the leaders of the team. But the DPD Pick’em leaders remain solidly in place.

Yes, that is right. This is our weekly trash talk session back from our two-week hiatus.

The DPD pick’em league is showing signs of stability at the top. A fifteen-year-old high school sophomore continues to dominate the league. Kathryn Cade has jumped out to a commanding three game lead over the rest of the league. Hi Kathryn! Are you happy I wrote about you this week? You are still my favorite daughter!

Studs and Duds

Studs of the week are Chris Markoch, Jeremy Marks, Clayton Smith, and Todd Canady. All four players successfully picked 13-of-14 games last week. All four players picked a different team that gave them their loss. Great picking guys!

Then there are the head-scratching picks. Raeshawn Jackson picked the Buffalo Bills over the New England Patriots. Although the game was closer than it should have been, picking Buffalo over New England is insanity. Then he turned around and picked the Green Bay Packers over the Los Angeles Super Team Rams. But he was not alone. Richard John and Kathryn Cade picked the Packers as well. What are you thinking Raeshawn?

Leaderboard

As it stands, Kathryn Cade is the leader of the pack with 79 correct picks. She is three games ahead of Mitch Zoloty who has 76 picks. She has a four-game lead over Michael Marko and Randy Gurzi. Kathryn is starting to run away with the league. Rise up oh Pick’em league. We must rally to the cause.

Fair warning. Get your picks in. If you don’t get your picks in, you may find yourself without a spot in the pick’em league. Think you got what it takes to beat the experts? Or Kathryn Cade? Then sign up and prove it!
