Members of the Dawg Pound Daily crew give their prediction on the Cleveland Browns Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs

A wild, wild week is over for the Cleveland Browns. After losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8, the front office decided it was time for some drastic changes in Berea. First, they let go of head coach Hue Jackson. He and his 3-36-1 record are no longer welcome.

After that, Todd Haley was relieved of his duties as offensive coordinator. It was speculated that one of the two men were going to have to leave as they were struggling to work with one another. Not many expected both to be gone.

The main reason one was expected to stick around was no one else on the staff had a lot of experience calling plays — outside of Al Saunders. However, they didn’t even go with Saunders for that role.

After naming defensive coordinator Gregg Williams the interim coach, running back coach Freddie Kitchens was promoted to offensive coordinator. For Kitchens, it will be his first chance to call plays in a regular season game. And as fate would have it, he will be having to try and keep pace with the red-hot Kansas City Chiefs in his first showing.

While Williams has the tougher task of dealing with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Kitchens has no cakewalk in front of him either.

All that having been said, we here at DPD will try and give our best predictions for how the Week 9 contest will play out.
