The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, like Baker Mayfield and Jarvis Landry seeing the Week 9 loss differently

It wasn’t the debut Gregg Williams wished for in his first game as interim head coach for the Cleveland Browns. As he tries to instill a new attitude, the Browns had to face one of the best teams in the NFL in the Kansas City Chiefs.

They weren’t able to steal the win, but there were plenty of positives to take away. Unless there weren’t.

If you ask quarterback Baker Mayfield, there were some good things to build one. However, receiver Jarvis Landry believes since there was no victory, there’s nothing good about the game.

Baker Mayfield sees positives in Sunday’s loss, Jarvis Landry disagrees — Josh Alper, Pro Football Talk

"Wide receiver Jarvis Landry wasn’t in the mood to find silver linings, though. Landry said “it doesn’t matter” when asked about improvements on offense.“We lost,” Landry said. “What steps did we take?”"

Jarvis Landry’s response sounds more like that of a passionate fan, which is why he’s endeared himself to the Cleveland faithful. Baker Mayfield took a more pragmatic approach saying there was plenty to build on. They may not see it eye to eye, but neither is technically wrong.

The Browns made a late move to bench Desmond Harrison amid the rookie’s struggles. It appeared as if Greg Robinson played much better and Baker agreed. There’s still a bright future for Harrison, but he’s clearly not ready to be the starter at left tackle.

"The Cleveland Browns suffered another blowout at home, this time from the Kansas Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. Here’s how the Browns graded out."

McElroy isn’t too kind to the defense or special teams, but he really shouldn’t be. The offense, he has a little more love for.
