The Cleveland Browns struggled to keep the Kansas City Chiefs out of the end-zone Sunday, losing  37-21 in their first game since the coaching changes.

The Cleveland Browns entered Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs with a lot of hope after the firings of Hue Jackson and Todd Haley.

A report before the game stated that the Browns had their best week of practice leading into Sunday, and the Wednesday practice was the best practice that they had all season.

But against a Chiefs team that is proving to be one of the best teams, if not the best team, in the league, a good week of practice can only do so much.

From the outset of the game, it was looking like the Browns were going to be outmatched, mostly because of how dominant the Chiefs offense is.

At one point in the game, the Browns defense was without half of their regular starters due to injuries. It was going to be an uphill battle for the Browns defense to stop the Chiefs offense in the first place, but the injuries made it almost impossible.

The Browns offense and new offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens did a great job of controlling the clock and moving the ball down the field in the first half. But after halftime, the Chiefs were able to make adjustments, making it harder for the Browns to continue that trend.

Overall, the Browns played a decent game against the Chiefs. It is hard to evaluate the defense with the amount of injuries that plagued the unit, but there were a couple season-long problems that continued on Sunday.

Here is a look at the Browns studs and duds from the defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
