Cleveland Browns News: Hue Jackson dishes on Baker Mayfield again

The Cleveland Browns are moving into their second game since moving on from Hue Jackson, but the former head coach hasn’t moved on from them. He’s continuing his world-tour of talking, this time appearing on The Adam Schefter Podcast.
Hue hasn’t done a great job for himself with the last couple of stops, but this time he managed not to make many headlines. And the biggest was positive as Jackson spoke highly of No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield.
Jackson said Baker had the “it factor” and is the right guy to lead the Browns away from their losing ways.

While Jackson was better with his words this time, he needs to stop talking. He would be much better staying quiet and getting his name out of the media for the rest of this season. He needs to rehab his image and that’s not going to happen overnight.
As for Baker, he does need some better weapons around him, but the sky is the limit for this talented young man.

This is another story about the promise of Mayfield. Coaches will want to come to Cleveland. Many believe they can win if they just have the quarterback. While the Browns need some work, they have that in Mayfield — which makes this a very good job that will attract some good candidates.

Fresh from Browns’ Kitchens, it’s Duke Johnson, everybody!
Mike Lukas was glad to see Freddie Kitchens cook up some plays for Duke Johnson. He’s a difference maker on offense, and Cleveland needs to get him on the field as much as possible. Hopefully, they continue to use him like they did Sunday.
