Cleveland Browns: Which head coaching job has the most appeal?
It seems like a great gig, but how exactly does the recently vacated head coaching job of the Cleveland Browns stack up against other potential vacancies in the league?
If you don’t know by now, former head coach Hue Jackson and offensive coordinator Todd Haley were fired a week ago. After that, defensive coordinator Greg Williams was named interim head coach. Freddie Kitchens, the former running backs coach, was promoted to OC to replace Todd Haley. Now that we’re all caught up let’s dive deeper into the wow factor of the head coach of the Cleveland Browns.
At the time of this article, there has only been one coaching change in the league and that is of course made by the Browns. The other teams I am about to list are all speculation.
The most obvious coaching change coming at the end of the season or sooner would take place in the Lone Star State, Dallas to be exact. Jason Garrett has been under scrutiny with questionable play calling and lack of productivity offense.

How does the head coach position of the Cowboys stack up against that of the Browns? Just like the Cowboys, the Browns have franchise pieces in place to be good for many years to come in Baker Mayfield and Dak Prescott at quarterback. They also each seem strong at running back with Ezekiel Elliott and Nick Chubb.
The Cowboys have arguably the most famous GM in the NFL in Jerry Jones but, the Browns have a well-respected one in John Dorsey who is responsible for the plethora of talent the Chiefs have stockpiled in recent drafts.
Dallas Cowboys has been anointed “Americas Team” with there huge following around the world and loyal fanbase, but perhaps no fanbase is as loyal as that of the Cleveland Browns with all we have endured over the years the bottom line is Browns fans might not always agree with the organization moves but they will always stand by there team what coach wouldn’t want to have that kind of support.
The next position that could become available is that of the New York Jets. Todd Bowles could potentially be out the door in the Big Apple.
New York has a great young signal-caller in that of Sam Darnold, who was taken third overall in this years draft in which Baker Mayfield was taken with the first overall pick.
The fact of playing in a great sports market in New York could be appealing but with that kind of fame could come at a cost. New York has been well documented as a tough market to play in with the amount of pressure the fans place on them and the media.

Cleveland should be a great hot bed for coaches and they need to find one lead this franchise and there passionate fan base out of the basement and onto the roof. Even with others having their own positives, the Browns position seems to have the most upside — especially considering that any coach who gets this franchise to become winners will also become immortalized.
