Game: Atlanta Falcons (4-4) at Cleveland Browns (2-6-1)

Summary: Greg Williams took over last week as the head coach and as a result, we saw a much more aggressive Cleveland Browns team on offense. I loved it. They went for it on fourth down, attempted 2-point conversions and gave running back Duke Johnson the ball. Despite that, the team still lost.

More from Browns News

A big downer this week is the announcement that cornerback E.J. Gaines and linebacker Christian Kirksey’s seasons were over, hitting an already depleted defense.

Baker Mayfield is proving more and more each week that he is THE GUY in Cleveland and having a stud pair in the backfield has helped.

Unfortunately for Cleveland, they’re facing a red-hot Atlanta Falcons team with a hot-shot rookie of their own. Wide receiver Calvin Ridley is coming on strong for the Falcons and is giving Julio Jones as talented a partner as he’s ever had.

The game being played in Cleveland helps. Atlanta is a dome team from the south and forecasts have called for the weather to be in the 30’s. So I expect it to be close but I still think the Falcons extend their win streak.

Final score: Atlanta 34, Cleveland 27
