1. Rashard Higgins

From fourth receiving option, to Baker Mayfield’s favorite receiver, Rashard “Hollywood” Higgins has made a ton of progress since the start of training camp. The third-year receiver out of Colorado State is finally coming into his own this season, and is the last remaining member of a wide receiver class drafted by Sashi Brown in 2016.

Higgins has certainly come into his own this season, especially since Baker Mayfield took the reigns at quarterback in week three. Mayfield has his guy, he knows it, and Higgins is reaping the benefits of the situation. Not only is his production and value to the Browns going up, but his place on the team is becoming solidified.

Higgins runs quite possibly the cleanest routes on the team, and while he may not burn defenders, his big-play ability is tremendous. Higgins has the sure hands needed to be an NFL receiver, and he may even become a top receiver for the Browns in time. At the very least, Rashard Higgins has morphed from team afterthought to legitimate receiving option in just one offseason.

The Browns kept Higgins out of a class that included Corey Coleman, Jordan Payton, Higgins, and Ricardo Louis. It’s safe to say that Cleveland made the right choice, and going forward, they may have a true top guy on the outside with Rashard Higgins. And that, my friends, is a story that only Hollywood could dream up.
