It’s the time of year where we all should reflect on what we are thankful for, and the Cleveland Browns finally have a lot to celebrate this 2018 season

Don’t let anyone tell you differently, this season has been a success for the Cleveland Browns. Sure, 3-6-1 after 10 games isn’t an ideal record, but the 2018 season was about so much more than just the record.

Cleveland was set to finally rebuild. After several seasons of stockpiling draft picks and looking to the future, the Browns were ready to start using the collection of draft stock to build a legitimate team.

And the fans had a front row seat to all the action.

After dominating the news ahead of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Browns then were featured on the Emmy-award-winning documentary, ‘Building the Cleveland Browns.‘ This nine-episode documentary was great, but that was just the beginning.

After this, they were featured on the HBO series ‘Hard Knocks.‘ It was here where we really started to connect with members of the team. We saw rookie Baker Mayfield show off some of his charisma as he poked fun at general manager John Dorsey and former defensive end Carl Nassib.

We also saw the feud between head coach Hue Jackson and offensive coordinator Todd Haley begin. That gave us all some insight as to why both men are no longer with the franchise. No fans needed an excuse to love this team more, but these shows didn’t hurt. Neither have the strides they made on the field.

Now as we approach Thanksgiving, we take a minute to reflect on this season and list the five things we should be most thankful about when it comes to the future of the Cleveland Browns.
