The Cleveland Browns face the Cincinnati Bengals on the road in Week 12 of the 2018 NFL Season. Here are three bold predictions for the AFC North showdown.

In Week 12, the Cleveland Browns head to Cincinnati to face the Bengals. Their in-state rivals are ahead of them in the AFC North standings, but it still seems like a game the Browns have a legitimate shot of winning.

Cincinnati is coming off one of their worst games of the season where they allowed 267 yards on the ground against the Baltimore Ravens. As for the Browns, they’re fresh off a bye week after shocking the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10.

If Cleveland can pull off the win, they’ll avoid making some unwanted history. The Browns have lost 25 consecutive road games, which is one shy of the NFL record set by the Detroit Lions from 2007-2010.

In order to win, they’ll need some big performances from some of their better players. Here we will look at three bold predictions involving some of the biggest stars the Browns have.

3. Nick Chubb goes for 100-plus again

Early in the season, head coach Hue Jackson and Todd Haley refused to put Nick Chubb on the field for more than a couple carries a game. General manager John Dorsey tired of this and shipped off starting running back Carlos Hyde. Chubb then was inserted into the starting lineup and his stat line has consisted of an 80-yard game followed by one with 65 and then 85-yards.

Then, he had his big breakout. In their victory over Atlanta, Chubb contributed 176 yards on the ground, including a team-record 92 yards on one play.

After taking off as he has, Chubb had to be ecstatic watching the Cincinnati film this week. They struggled to stop anyone on Baltimore and Chubb should find holes to run through in this one. When all is said and done, Chubb will have his third 100-yard performance of his rookie season.
