The Cleveland Browns went into Houston and could not overcome the hottest team in the NFL in the Texans, and we look at the studs and duds from the 29-13 loss.

There was a lot of optimism surrounding the Cleveland Browns as they traveled to Houston to play the Texans, but that hope was quickly shattered against Houston.

From the opening kickoff, it was obvious that the Browns were going to have their hands full against the Texans.

Houston entered the game on an eight-game winning streak, and it was easy to see why they have rattled that many consecutive wins.

The Texans are a sound team in all three phases, and they rarely make mistakes that would them in a hole throughout the course of the game.

The same could not be said about the Browns, as they could not get out of their own way and were constantly making mistakes throughout the entire game. The Browns went to back to their old ways and committed six penalties, something that has not been a problem under Gregg Williams.

However, it is fair to say that Browns fans have been spoiled watching the Browns in recent weeks, as they have not looked like the young team that they are. Baker Mayfield had not been making the mistakes that a rookie quarterback would tend to make, thus the Browns offense was moving the ball down the field at will.

On the other side of the ball, the Browns defense has been prone to give up a high amount of yards throughout games, but they were able to create turnovers and stall drives.

On Sunday, the opposite of both of those statements happened, and it created a lot of problems for the Browns.

With that said, here is a look at the studs and duds from the Browns 29-13 loss to the Houston Texans.
