The Cleveland Browns may no longer be in the playoff race, but they could play major role in the postseason in their last four games of the season.

At this point, the 4-7-1 Cleveland Browns’ playoff chances are about as minuscule as a set of Michael Bennett’s shoulder pads.

For those who need it, spend a second to take in that image.

Wee and itty-bitty come to mind, no offense either way.

Luckily there’s still plenty of fun to be had during the final four Browns games of the 2018 season.

Fun, that is, for those who enjoy being the spoiler.

You know, being the team that’s out of the race but wins anyway and spoils everyone else’s postseason hopes and dreams.

Wee!

For four weeks, the Browns have four chances to make four teams and their four fan-bases absolutely miserable.

We’re talking Scooby Doo miserable, as in, “and we woulda gone to the playoffs if it weren’t for those meddling Browns.”

‘Bout time the spoilee becomes the spoiler.

Here’s a look at the Browns final four opponents and how a loss to the Browns could ruin their world.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

Week 14: Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are on a four-game-losing slide but they remain the seventh seed in the playoffs by just a half a game over the sixth-seeded 6-5-1 Minnesota Vikings.

Every single Panthers fan believes that their team’s losing streak will end against the Browns, and are counting on that victory to take them one game closer to that precious sixth seed.

If Cleveland beats them, though, they effectively take Carolina out of the NFC wild card race and put the ball in Minnesota’s, Philadelphia’s and Washington’s hands.

Browns could do that with a Week 14 win.

Week 15: Denver Broncos

The Broncos may only be the 10th seed in the AFC playoff race, but they’re only one win behind the sixth seeded Baltimore Ravens.

Guaranteed those Broncos fans are dreaming of a miracle run to the AFC wild card spot, and they’re just assuming a victory over the Browns will be a part of that.

If Cleveland beats them, though, they effectively take Denver out of the AFC wild card race and put the ball in Baltimore’s, Tennessee’s, Miami’s and Indianapolis’ hands.

Browns could do that with a Week 15 win.

Week 16: Cincinnati Bengals

Okay, the Bengals are as out of the playoff race as the Browns are, so beating them does no damage in that way.

But every single Browns fan’s absolute need to defeat the Bengals again this season can be summed up in one simple word: Hue.

If Cleveland beats the Hue-infested Cincinnati Bengals for the second time this season, think how powerful that is for a team that’s slowly bonding.

Browns could do that with a Week 16 win.

Week 17: Baltimore Ravens

Not only would a win in the final week of the season be as satisfying as a birdie on the 18th hole, by then the Baltimore Ravens could still be the solid AFC sixth seed.

Imagine the looks on a whole town of Ravens fans’ faces counting on an easy win over the Browns at home as they try to make sense of how that losing team from Cleveland beat them twice and kept them from the post season.

Browns could do that with a Week 17 win.

dark. Next. Browns vs. Panthers: Week 14 Predictions

Gregg Williams, Freddie Kitchens, Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Jarvis Landry and company will use the rest of this Browns season to finish morphing into winners.

As a result, a lot of other NFL teams and their fans are about to get their playoff dreams spoiled in the process.
