The Cleveland Browns continue to win and in doing so, they’re shaking the loser label that has plagued them for the past several years.

Oh, what a glorious day to be a Cleveland Browns fan.

Who knew a Week 15 Victory Sunday would feel this good?

For the fourth time in six weeks rookie quarterback and man thousands of babies will be named after Baker Mayfield has led his Browns to sweet victory.

And the best part about this 17-16 squeaker over the Denver Broncos was how ugly it was.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

Penalties, turnovers, dropped passes, inaccurate throws, missed tackles…

Ooh, I tell ya, that game was so ugly…

…people mistook it for Artie Lange.

…it gave syphilis confidence.

…Hue Jackson saw it and for a second thought he was still the Browns head coach.

Except this time, instead of snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory, Baker’s Browns actually won the darn thing.

You know, the polar opposite of how it was going pre-Baker.

Mayfield ended up completing 18-of-31 for 188 yards and two touchdowns and a pick, not his best game by far.

I’ll admit, there were times when my old Browns ‘loser’ doubts kicked in.

Like at the end of the fourth quarter, when the Browns were up 17-16 and it was fourth-and-one inside the Bronco’s ten and interim head coach Gregg ‘Triple G’ Williams decided to go for it instead of kick the field goal.

Right away I thought, holy crud, Williams is an idiot, here we go again.

Then Mayfield’s hard count caused the Broncos to jump offside, which is a five-yard penalty and an automatic first down.

I thought, holy crud, Williams is a genius, we just won the game.

Then it turned out Williams had called a timeout before that play started and the Broncos stopped Chubb in the backfield and got the ball back and I was back to, holy crud, what an idiot, here we go again.

But then something miraculous and completely un-idiotic happened that Browns fans are just going to have to start getting used to: the Cleveland Browns played better than their opponent and won.

Holy crud, that’s worth repeating: the Cleveland Browns played better than their opponent and won!

That’s right, the Browns 30th ranked defense that’s allowed opponents to move the ball over 400 yards a game flexed their underrated beef and said, NO.

And when after a couple of decent plays it appeared that the fourth-and-10 Broncos still weren’t clear on that message, Jabrill Peppers stormed in and delivered the biggest ‘NO’ of all — a game-winning sack of their quarterback Case Keenum.

And then all the ugly turned into the most beautiful football sight imaginable: the Baker Browns in victory formation in another team’s house.

So old-school sweet it gave Otto Graham’s ghost a toothache.

Browns win and stay playoff eligible; Broncos lose and are virtually playoff eliminated, The Spoil complete.

Browns stay in playoff race with huge win. dark. Next

The Dawg Pound gets to enjoy hope for another week, by Dorsey, because Baker’s Browns have won it again.

Oh, what a glorious time to be a Cleveland Browns fan.
