Looking back at the best single-season receiving season by a member of the Cleveland Browns since they returned to the NFL in the 1999 season

No team has a more loyal fanbase than the Cleveland Browns do. That fact has been proven on more than one occasion. Most recently, it was shown in the FanSided Fandom 250 rankings.

In this all-encompassing ranking of every possible fan base in the world, the Browns came out on top. They were ranked against every other sports team fans, movie followers and comic book collectors with the final outcome stating that no one shows their passion like this group of fans.

Another instance in when they showed their passion came when the Browns up and moved to Baltimore following the1995 season. The NFL knew that the sport was better with a team in Cleveland, so the Ravens started their own history and the Browns stayed in town waiting for their team to begin again.

In 1999, the league brought them back as the Cleveland Browns version 2.0 was released on the world. Unfortunately, the rabid fanbase hasn’t been rewarded with a lot of winning — at least not yet. That doesn’t mean there haven’t been some good players though.

Here we look back at the Browns since 1999 and pay tribute to some of the best receiving seasons the club has seen. These are the top-5 receiving seasons for the Browns since 1999.

Honorable Mention: Antonio Bryant, 2005 season.

That year, Bryant had 69 receptions for 1,009 yards and four touchdowns. He was close to hitting the top-5 but just did get edged out. Even so, he deserves a shout out for the season he put together for the Browns that year.
