Stud: Rashard Higgins

One guy who continues to play well this season, despite not getting enough attention is Rashard Higgins. The Browns entered the year with him behind Jarvis Landry and Josh Gordon — while also trying to get Antonio Callaway on the field more thanks to his deep speed.

The forgotten man in that mix was Higgins — who was coming in off his best season to date. In his second year, Higgins had 27 receptions for 312 yards and two touchdowns. He’s eclipsed all those marks this season as he was moved up the charts after Gordon was sent away.

Higgins has been incredibly reliable but really stood out Sunday. He had a season-high six receptions and even took a short pass 17 yards to the end zone on one of the better plays of the entire game.

He hasn’t been the downfield threat that Breshad Perriman or Callaway have, but Higgins is proving he can be the kind of possession receiver teams need to respect. That’s a great thing for him as they could be in the market for another receiver in the offseason. Higgins has used this year to try and prove he can be the guy and that he should be in the plans moving forward.

Higgins also added one of the better touchdown celebrations as he made his move down the runway as his teammates took his photo.
