Stud: Jarvis Landry

Just looking at his receiving numbers won’t tell the story of what Jarvis Landry meant to the Browns on Sunday. He finished with four receptions for 47 yards on the day but also got involved with a six-yard run and a 63-yard pass. Yes, you read that last part right.

It’s not the first time Landry has made a play with his arm, but this may have been the prettiest. On a reverse play, Landry ended up taking the ball and then dropped a dime into the hands of Breshad Perriman. It ended up being the second-longest play of the day for the Browns, as David Njoku later put up a 66-yard reception.

Landry made the most noise with that play, but he showed off his ability to perform in the clutch as well. On a fourth-and-one deep in Cincinnati territory, he found an opening in the defense and settled in for a first-down grab.

He later added a beautiful catch for 19 yards on third-and-two in the third quarter. That one seemed like the pass wasn’t going to be completed, but Landry hauled it in any way.

Just to prove he’s a complete player, he also had a key block on run by Baker Mayfield in the fourth quarter, which went for 18 yards.
