The Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the Cleveland Browns news that you need to know, including Doug Dieken being an underappreciated member of the organization.

When turning on a Cleveland Browns radio broadcast, play-by-play announcer Jim Donovan attracts the most attention from fans due to his passion for the team.

But right next to him on the broadcast is Doug Dieken, a former offensive lineman who played his entire 14-year career with the Browns.

But once Dieken retired from playing, he joined the Browns radio broadcast and has been in the booth ever since. Unlike most former players, Dieken has remained in Cleveland for most of his life.

Doug Dieken Has a Story About That – Vince Grzegorek, The Cleveland Scene

"And, somehow, possibly out of narrative necessity or a gap in Scene’s cover story schedule, there’s a sense that Doug Dieken has not gotten his due. At least not for his second career and, in the larger picture, not for his very existence and lasting legacy as one of the most/best/quintessential Cleveland people of all time despite not being from here."

There have been few people that have done more for an organization than what Dieken has done for the Browns organization. Despite being loved by most of the Cleveland Browns fan base, it does not seem like Dieken gets the love that he deserves. As Dieken’s career winds down, hopefully he can earn more recognition for what he has done with the Browns.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews on Baker Mayfield, his Oklahoma QB: ‘He’s a killer; he intent on ruining our season’ – Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland.com

"Few in the NFL know Baker Mayfield as well as Ravens tight end Mark Andrews, who played with him the last three seasons at Oklahoma. And he knows that Mayfield is determined to rip the Ravens’ hearts out this weekend in Baltimore and knock them out of playoff contention."

Baker Mayfield is the kind of player that will use anything that is available to him as motivation. With the Ravens fighting for a playoff spot in the last week of the season, there is no doubt that he will do everything in his power to make sure Baltimore does not make the playoffs.
