Cleveland Browns: Five Week 17 records and milestones to watch
By Mitch Zoloty
First 1,000 yard rusher since 2010
Nick Chubb has had a fantastic rookie year. He currently sits at 972 rushing yards this season. This is even more impressive when factoring in that he didn’t start to get more than three carries a game until week seven. Nick Chubb would be the first Browns player to rush for over 1000 yards in their rookie season since Kevin Mack in 1985.

Nick Chubb is also 132 rushing yards away from tying Kevin Mack’s record. However, getting 132 rushing yards against this stout Ravens defense seems very unlikely. Getting 28 rushing yards and becoming the first Browns rookie to rush for 1000 yards seems much more likely.
First 1,000 yard receiver since 2016
Jarvis Landry is a big game away from being the first Browns receiver since Josh Gordon to have 1,000 receiving yards in his career. Currently sitting at 874 receiving yards, he would need 126 receiving yards to get to the big 1000. This seems very unlikely, as again, the Ravens are one of the top defenses in the league.
Jarvis had five catches for 69 yards on 11 targets against the Ravens last time the two teams played. I’d expect Jarvis to have similar statistics this time around. Hopefully, Baker can connect with Jarvis a few more times than normal to help both of them achieve their goals.
