The Cleveland Browns looked to finish their season on a high note, but were unable to do that after losing to the Baltimore Ravens 26-24.

The Cleveland Browns were hoping that they could win on Sunday and help knock the Baltimore Ravens out of the playoffs. But they were not able to overcome the stiff Ravens defense, falling 26-24 in the season finale.

The Browns struggled to get momentum in the first half, as Baker Mayfield could not figure out the Ravens defense and the Browns defense could not slow down the Ravens rushing attack.

Cleveland was able to make a play before the end of halftime, forcing a Lamar Jackson fumble at the goal-line and were able to recover the loose ball.

It appeared that Jabrill Peppers was going to be able to score a 99-yard scoop-and-score touchdown, but the play was blown dead, and the Browns were given the ball at the seven-yard line.

The Browns entered halftime trailing the Ravens, 20-7. But they were able to march back in the second half, as the defense was able to tighten up and only allow two field goals.

Mayfield and the Browns offense were able to push the ball downfield in the second half as they scored two touchdowns. The Browns had a chance to win the game with a last-minute drive, but the offense stalled just past the 50-yard line and Mayfield ended up throwing an interception to seal the victory for the Ravens.

The Browns finished the season with a 7-8-1 record and fell just games short of making of the playoffs. After the slow start to the season and a drama-filled middle portion of the season, the Browns 2018 season can be seen as a success.

With Cleveland’s 2018 season over, here’s a look at the Browns studs and duds following their season finale loss to the Ravens.
