Despite making massive improvements this season, the Cleveland Browns still have holes they need to fill. Dorsey still has a large amount of cap space, so expect the team to be active in free agency. Here is three players the team could possibly sign.

John Dorsey and crew have revived the Cleveland Browns franchise. By bringing in arguably the greatest rookie quarterback the NFL has seen in a decade, Dorsey has built a dangerous team for next season.

Dorsey got a franchise quarterback in Baker Mayfield. He inherited franchise defensive studs like Joe Schobert and Myles Garrett. He added to that elite defensive core with Pro Bowl rookie corner back Denzel Ward.

Dorsey also inherited an elite interior offensive line in Joel Bitonio, JC Tretter, and Kevin Zeitler. Adding to that great offensive line, Dorsey brought in former bust Greg Robinson, who has revived his career with the Browns. With that being said, there are still holes that need to be filled.

These holes, however, are going to have plentiful potential fills in free agency and in the draft. With around $53 million in cap, and 10 draft picks, expect them to be filled with some talent.

The Browns should be entering win now mode. It feels weird to type that, but its true. While Baker Mayfield and Myles Garrett are still on rookie contracts, they need to spend on other short term pieces around them.

Those two fill the most expensive positions with their cheaper, elite talent. The Browns will be able to go spend and maybe even overspend on certain short term contracts for other positions that don’t get as much love.

Cleveland isn’t the best free agent destination, so overspending on short term contracts might be the Browns best bet to improve through free agency. Not many players who aren’t from Cleveland will want to move to Cleveland over some of the other destinations, like New York, Los Angeles, or any of the Florida teams.

With all of that being said, lets take a look at the free agents the Browns could pay, or even overpay, and bring in to make a playoff push next season.
