The Cleveland Browns season may be over, but the Dawg Pound Daily Pick’em league continues. Get your picks in to stay in the hunt!

The Cleveland Browns didn’t make the playoffs this season. But if you are in the Dawg Pound Daily Pick’em League, the playoffs are just about to start.

The DPD Pick’em league did not end with the regular season. Oh no! The league continues into the playoffs.

So even though Michael Markoch thinks he won the league last week, he is sorely mistaken! There is still Wild Card Weekend, Divisional Weekend and Championship weekend. All of this before picking the Super Bowl.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

So if you are sitting there hoping for one more chance at the leader, your dream has come true. The playoffs add an extra eleven games to the slate. Anything can happen in eleven games.

The final week of the season saw an explosion of comebacks. Michael Markock took a two game lead over the pack. For a stretch of about 20 minutes, Joel Cade held the lead. That is, he held the lead until the New York Giants blew their lead, like morons, to the Dallas Cowboys.

Last week also saw the emergence of DPD Editor Randy Gurzi into the top 5. It also saw Kathryn Cade emerge from obscurity of the past few weeks. In fact, Kathryn’s fourteen correctly picked games was a season high for the league along with Anthony Holben in Week 16. Chris Markoch has made his way up the leader board as well. Should be a wild finish.

Speaking of wild, this week is the wild card slate. The Seattle Seahawks head into Dallas to face the Cowboys. The Indianapolis Colts play at the Houston Texans. On Sunday the Los Angeles Chargers head to Baltimore to play (and hopefully defeat) the Ravens. The game that has piqued my interested in the Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears. Let’s hope a massive fog doesn’t come in off Lake Michigan this time.
