The Cleveland Browns have a solid foundation to build on but still need to do some work. We have looked at some big names, but here are some under the radar moves they can consider in 2019 free agency

With all the news around the Cleveland Browns right now being about their head coach position, we take a little pause here to look deeper at the roster. In 2018, general manager John Dorsey was fantastic in terms of rebuilding this roster.

He added a star quarterback in Baker Mayfield and gave him plenty to work with. There’s now a franchise running back in Nick Chubb and a receiving corps that works well with Mayfield and includes a few new faces like Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway, and Breshad Perriman.

On defense, Dorsey added playmakers as well. There was No. 4 overall pick Denzel Ward who had three interceptions as a rookie as well as a new stud free safety in Damarious Randall. Up front, they were helped by carryovers from the previous regime like Myles Garrett and Emmanuel Ogbah.

In short, the Browns have the kind of roster that many teams envy. They have a star in the most important position and a lot of talent all around the field. That doesn’t mean they’re set just yet.

Now in Dorsey’s second offseason running the team, they need to continue to fill holes and build a roster that can compete in the AFC North. We have discussed some bigger names in free agency, but here we can examine some names that aren’t getting as much press but should be considered nonetheless.
