After deciding on Freddie Kitchens as their head coach, we look at how the Cleveland Browns could fill some holes in 2019 with this 7-round NFL Mock Draft

On Wednesday, the Cleveland Browns finally made it official. They hired their former interim offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens as the full-time head coach. Kitchens was reportedly considered for the interim head coaching job after the team fired Hue Jackson and Todd Haley during the season, but in the end, the front office decided he was a better fit as the play caller.

It worked out for both sides as he completely turned their struggling offense around. He’s often credited for the work he did with rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield, but his fingerprints extended beyond that.

Kitchens was able to enhance the play of the offensive line — which struggled mightily before he took over — and got the most out of players such as Jarvis Landry and David Njoku. In short, the former Alabama quarterback proved his worth as a leader for the Browns and earned this opportunity. And despite some who say the Browns settled on this hire, they made the right choice as Kitchens proved he can work with the players on board and became a well-respected coach in NFL circles in the process.

So now that general manager John Dorsey was able to finally hire his first coach in the NFL, he will look to add more talent to ensure he can succeed. Here we attempt to predict what talent Dorsey will land in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft via the seven-round Browns mock draft.
