Cleveland Browns: 2019 NFL Mock Draft post Freddie Kitchens hire
By Randy Gurzi
Round 2: Yodny Cajuste, OT, West Virginia
With their second-round selection in this mock draft, the Browns grab themselves a potential starting tackle in West Virginia’s Yodny Cajuste. The redshirt senior has the size teams desire at 6-foot-5 and 315-pounds and can start as a rookie.
According to the staff at The Draft Network, Cajuste has limitations in the passing game but can excel at opening up running lanes.

"“Yodney Cajuste projects favorably as a starting left tackle in a gap/power heavy running offense. Cajuste has some restrictions in his pass protection, working in a scheme that offers a lot of short sets and slide protections would be ideal for his physical skill set. Cajuste has the needed length and mobility to be an effective starter elsewhere, however. Teams needing an upgrade could feasibly start Cajuste as a rookie in 2019 but NFL speed will test him initially.” — The Draft Network Staff"
Kitchens showed an ability to work with what his linemen do best as he converted his blocking scheme to a dish-based scheme with great results. Cajuste would be an upgrade over anyone on their staff and will surely thrive in the Browns’ office. Cajuste is climbing up boards and will likely do so the more scouts get a look at him up close and personal.
Should he be able to lock down the left tackle job, that could have some great impact on the rest of the roster. Chris Hubbard wasn’t ideal on the right side and he could end up competing with Desmond Harrison and Greg Robinson — if he re-signs that is. Either one of those guys unseats Hubbard, or he will be better from the competition. Either way, the Browns win.
