The Senior Bowl will take place on Saturday, Jan. 26. Here are three players that the Cleveland Browns should keep an eye on in that game

After going 7-8-1, there’s finally plenty of hope that things are turning around for the Cleveland Browns. And no, that’s not just because they were 1-31 in the two seasons prior to this one.

The reason for hope is that this team was 5-3 down the stretch after firing Hue Jackson and Todd Haley. After those two were sent away for their power struggle, interim head coach Gregg Williams and offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens had Cleveland playing to their potential. Now with Kitchens in charge as the head coach, there’s even more excitement about 2019.

Aiding that excitement is the stellar work done by general manager John Dorsey, who joined the club late in the 2017 season. In his first draft for the Browns, he landed a franchise quarterback in Baker Mayfield, a running back who barely missed 1,000-yards on the season in Nick Chubb despite not starting the whole season, and a stellar cornerback in Denzel Ward.

Dorsey also hit late on linebacker Genard Avery, who showed plenty of ability to generate a pass rush as a rookie. All that put together gives fans goosebumps thinking about what’s to come in 2019.

The front office is surely already doing their homework on the incoming class of collegiate players and on Jan. 26, we can all tune in to watch the seniors go at it in the 2019 Senior Bowl. Here we will look at a few players who the Browns should have their eye on in the annual classic.
