Cleveland Browns playoff bound in 2019 says Nick Chubb
By Randy Gurzi
After winning five of their last eight games, running back Nick Chubb expects more for the Cleveland Browns in 2019 — like a run at the postseason
Nick Chubb isn’t a brash player at all, but rather he’s a soft-spoken and humble player. So when someone like Chubb makes a claim about the Cleveland Browns making the playoffs in 2019 that means he truly believes it’s going to happen.
And that’s exactly what the young running back did recently as he spoke for a couple of minutes with TMZ on the way to catch a flight.
Chubb answered a few short questions about his Batman pajama pants, shot-putting background, and the Rookie of the Year race. He ended the interview as he was getting on an elevator by answering a question about whether or not the Browns will make the postseason.

His answer was rather simple:
"“Yeah, we will,” Chubb said via TMZ. “We will.”"
Chubb surely isn’t the only person to think this will be the case. Cleveland is a team on the rise thanks to players like him, as well as fellow rookie stars Baker Mayfield and Denzel Ward. Second-year players also took big steps in 2018 with Myles Garrett, Jabrill Peppers, and David Njoku beginning to realize their potential.
On top of the talent, there’s a lot of belief in new head coach Freddie Kitchens. The former interim offensive coordinator did wonders with the Browns offense after taking over for Todd Haley and he should be able to continue that progress while new defensive coordinator Steve Wilks pushes the defense even further.
There’s plenty of reason for optimism, and Nick Chubb can be counted among those who are buying in.
