With the NFL Scouting Combine coming near, we take another look at what the Cleveland Browns might do with this 7-round 2019 Mock Draft

Recently, the Cleveland Browns and the rest of the NFL got a good look at many of the incoming collegiate players at the 2019 Senior Bowl. This was the same game from last season where fans got a good look at Baker Mayfield, who of course, ended up being selected No. 1 overall.

With that game behind us, it’s time to look for the next big rookie showcase — the NFL Scouting Combine. That event will take place starting Tuesday, February 26 and run through Monday, March 4. After that, we will have an even better grasp of the players coming into the league and how they could possibly fit with the Browns, should they be the selection.

That doesn’t mean we can’t start looking ahead already to what the team will do with their selections in the 2019 NFL Draft. And considering how well they did with their draft picks in 2018, there’s plenty of reasons to be excited about what they will do this spring.

General manager John Dorsey not only found the franchise quarterback in Mayfield but added another couple of long-term starters. There was No. 4 overall pick Denzel Ward at cornerback, as well as running back Nick Chubb at No. 35. He also found a deep-threat receiver in Antonio Callaway in the fourth round and a dangerous edge player in Genard Avery, the fifth-round linebacker from Memphis.

Dorsey still believes some of his other picks, like Austin Corbett and Chad Thomas, will pan out, but time will tell on those two.

Now with all that being said, we look ahead to Dorsey’s second draft with the Browns and attempt to predict his moves with this 2019 7-Round Mock Draft.
