If the Cleveland Browns want to add some winning talent to their team in the offseason, they could target these five players who were in Super Bowl LIII

General manager John Dorsey came to the Cleveland Browns late in the 2017 season and vowed to find ‘real players’ to turn his new ball club around. He then proceeded to completely overhaul the roster and had roughly a 60 percent turnover.

The results were seen on the field as the Browns went 7-8-1, with a 5-3 mark in the second half. While new head coach Freddie Kitchens doesn’t understand the excitement over seven wins, there was plenty to celebrate as the Browns were just 1-31 the previous two seasons with Hue “Bus Driver” Jackson.

Once he was finally gone, things turned around — and we all saw Baker Mayfield begin to reach his potential. With the way Cleveland played down the stretch, they’re now starting to look like a darkhorse team to make a postseason run in 2019.

However, the work for Dorsey isn’t done. Their roster is vastly better than the one he inherited but there are still a few holes to fill. Ideally, they can get some big playmakers in the draft — just as they did in 2018 when they landed Baker Mayfield, Denzel Ward, and Nick Chubb. That doesn’t mean they can’t use free agency as well.

They did this in 2018 by bringing in players such as Carlos Hyde (although he was traded away the same year), Terrance Mitchell, and Jarvis Landry just to name a few. Still, with money to spend in free agency, they can add more talent and Super Bowl LIII offered a glimpse at a few players who are scheduled to hit the open market this spring.

Here we look at five players who were on the field for the biggest game of the season that the Browns could target in free agency.
