There may not be a quarterback in the NFL that knows more about Cleveland Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens than former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer.

With their experience together, Palmer knows what Kitchens will do to make sure that the Browns will be successful. He also knows that Kitchens will help protect quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Cleveland Browns News
"Carson Palmer knows that fellow Heisman Trophy winner and second-year QB Baker Mayfield is in good hands with head coach Freddie Kitchens."
During his time in Arizona, Palmer’s career was rejuvenated. It may have mostly been because of Bruce Arians’ offense, but it would be fair to say that Kitchens learned a thing or two from the former Arizona head coach. With the work they did together in Arizona, it is probably a good reason why Palmer is confident in Kitchens and Mayfield combination.
Cleveland Browns: 7-Round mock draft more exciting than Super Bowl LIII
Super Bowl LIII was a major disappointment for most football fans as the game featured few exciting moments. For Browns fans, Cory Kinnan tries to pick their spirits up with a mock draft that addresses the Browns needs.
"Barkley and Mayfield are the type of players who can help their teams reach the Super Bowl. But what position is more important? It’s always the quarterback. That’s why the presence of Mayfield should have Browns fans daring to dream big."
One of the reasons the Rams have been so successful the past two seasons has been the combination of Sean McVay and Jared Goff. The two work really well together, as do Kitchens and Mayfield. The Browns may not be Super Bowl contenders next season, but they have the duo that could make them Super Bowl contenders.
