With Baker Mayfield, the new Browns coaches seemed ecstatic to not have to play against him. Also, they seem to believe he has what it takes to lead the Browns to the promised land.

Cleveland Browns News
"Thursday, when the Browns introduced their trio of new coordinators, it sounded like they got the message.“To me, it is pretty simple,” offensive coordinator Todd Monken said. “I have always chosen places based on the people and the opportunity to win.”"
The Browns new coaches are singing a different tune than most of the previous Browns coaches. The new coaching staff is setup with a team that is prepared to make the playoffs, not to start a rebuild. With the roster the Browns have, the new coaches have a great opportunity to make a bigger name for themselves.
The RPO could be in the Browns offenses future
One of the sentiments that Browns offensive coordinator echoed the most in his press conference was the presence of the RPO. Randy Gurzi believes that the RPO will be more prevalent in 2019 than it was in 2018 for the Browns.
Steve Wilks: Baker Mayfield was a big attraction to Browns DC job – Josh Alper, Pro Football Talk
"Wilks said he would have liked more time, but that the NFL is “a production-based league and we didn’t win enough games.” His chances of winning more games would have been helped by better quarterback play, which makes it unsurprising to hear that the presence of Baker Mayfield helped make the Cleveland job an attractive one to Wilks."
It is interesting to hear a defensive coordinator say that his team’s quarterback was a main reason to join that staff. But Wilks believes that with Mayfield, he and the rest of the Browns have a much better chance to win games.
Three potential Day 3 wide receiver gems for the Browns
There are some Cleveland Browns fans that see wide receiver as a need this off-season. There are others that think the Browns already have the wide receiver corps needed to win games. But Cleveland could look at these late-round wide receivers that could pay off for the Browns.
